laser cutting and bending specialists

We can provide on request: iron, stainless steel, aluminum and titanium TIG-MIG; satin finishing, brushing, calendering and pre-assembly.
Furthermore, in cooperation with third party providers, we manage also surface finishing processes such as electro-mechanical/electro-chemical polishing, galvanizing, shot-peening and painting.

Laser Systems uses professional machines such as 6 kw and 8 kw Mazak Optiplex Fiber. Flexibility is definitely the hallmark of our company. We design and develop solutions dedicated to sheet metal processing needs. Our machines can quickly and accurately cut a wide range of materials of different thicknesses. Thanks to our technical expertise and know-how, our products combine high reliability with long service life, either in small batches or large series.

OUR HISTORY

About us

Laser Systems, initially founded in January 1995 as individual company, is based in Settime d’Asti.

We strived to prove our entrepreneurial skills in a scarcely known and little exploited technological field in the province of Asti, although normally employed in the surrounding Piedmontese provinces.

Due to the high costs of this type of technology and the limited financial resources we decided to purchase the required equipment on the second-hand market: we began with an USA-made laser source integrated with a Japanese-made cutting system. At the end of 1995 a quality breakthrough was needed in order to meet the requirements of a market area that responded favorably and with increasing interest in this type of processing.

Thus we started Laser Systems S.r.l. and, eventually, shortly afterwards we purchased a complete brand new Italian laser cutting system.

During our first years in business we experienced several difficulties requiring different approaches: we accepted those orders that, even if in small numbers, would then allow a growing diversification of our customer portfolio in different sectors. We assembled and trained a team of young technicians who, in time, evolved to skilled, enthusiast, and up-to-date specialists. The ongoing innovations that this technology implies will always find them ready to meet the challenge. Finally, we reinvested the most part of our profits in the purchase of cutting-edge equipment.

Currently, our company owns three laser cutting systems equipped with state-of-the-art automatic warehouses: two Mazak fiber optics and one Prima Power CO₂, plus four press brakes. Nowadays our new challenge is to approach the European markets and promote Laser Systems as a small company that is qualified to face and compete with foreign competitors.

Recently we were granted the FPC certification in compliance with EN 1090-1 and EU regulation 305/2011 for the production of laser cut and bent carbon steel structural components up to grade S355.

Furthermore, in 2018 we obtained the ISO9001:2015 certification by the Quality Management System TUV Sud . The certificato EN 1090, the Politica aziendale per la Qualità and the certificato EN 3834 can be found on this site.

“The most important keys to success are patience, focus on long-term results, a significant investment in the people we work with, and an unwavering commitment to quality.”
